With the announcement that after 16 years Marc Jacobs is set to leave Louis Vuitton leaves one big question; who's going to fill those shoes?

Amsterdam Trip
Last weekend I made my first ever visit to Amsterdam, I'd wanted to go for sometime and I wasn't disappointed. It was bitterly cold but the sky's were clear and the sun was shining, and it was the perfect excuse to give my Zara sale purchase trench it's first outing. I love visiting new cities in Autumn as I find the colours so beautiful and picture perfect. I must have walked at least 30 miles but it was great to see the city on foot. I found the centre so endearing, and as indiscreet as the Red Light District is I found it fascinating. I'm sure there is an underlying tone of exploitation but coming from such a prudish nation I found the openness of sexuality quite a liberating concept. As a typical tourist I also included the usual Anne Frank visit, a wonder round the art galleries (Van Gogh was a terrible painter!), pancakes, Waffles and possibly a coffee shop stop (when in Rome) and generally I had great time in a fantastic place the company wasn't bad either.

Made in England
I'm a bit slow uploading this but this is my outfit from Bank holiday Monday. I had a lovely trip to London, had lunch at Meat Mission and caught up with a very good friend. I ditched my 4 inchers for trainers, so much for comfort the backs of my heels are still crying! These New Balances are defnitely going to take some wearing in, good job these 420's are on trend.

My New Favourite Thing
H&M Trend never seems to let me down, when I spotted this incredible sweater I couldn't believe my eyes. For starters it was my size and the only one on the rail, the detail is amazing and most importantly the price tag. This little gem was £39.99, it weighs a tonne and it'll be impossible to wash but I don't care H&M once again you have outdone yourself!

A Hint of Pink
I bought this faux leather skirt a while back and ashamedly I've only managed to get one wear out of it. Last night gave me the perfect opportunity to give it an outing, I went on a rare evening out with a friend and what better colour to pair such a fun skirt. I love bright pink it's a very flattering colour on my skin tone, and as it's a colour that will have an expiration date as I age I like to make the most of being able it wear it now. My bracelets are from a gorgeous little boutique in Peterborough that I happened to pick up on a little shopping trip yesterday. I can't wait to expand my Tahlias Closet collection.
