My Zara Summer Sale Pick Ups

 Blouse £19.99

 Trousers £19.99

Clutch - £19.99

Above are my cheeky little purchases from the Zara Summer Sale. I only spent £60 which is a bargin and I absolutely love what I bought. I wouldn't normally wear such a detailed print but the BF made me try it on and he was right to, it looks great and paired with the cerise pink the whole look works so well. I ran when I saw these trousers as I had wanted them full price so getting them at half the cost is a major bonus. I think they will look great with blacks and greys and will carry me through till the winter months. And finally the clutch, yeah it looks amazing with the outfit but in general its a great bag and reversible, it does come with a long shoulder strap but I ditched that with the tags! So if you havent  already been to the Zara Sumer Sale, why on earth not gems like these won't last long!

Every Fashion concious girl knows that in the High Street Fashion stakes Zara is King with only H&M Trend competing, and that time of year has come around when we can pick up a bargin or two in the Zara Summer sale. For me this normally means happiness and rage as most of the time I've already purchased the item at full price but every now and again I get to take home a cheeky little purchase at a smile raising price tag. See below for my favourite picks from this years summer sale.

Trainer Geeks across the land would have stopped in their tracks at Super Hot! Rihanna sporting Kanye West's Nike Yezzy II at Hackney weekend. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of girls rocking High Tops after this image gets around. #trendsetter

Viva Forever

Viva Forever the musical is set to open at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End in December and boy am I excited. As a self confessed Spice Girls Obsessive I am as eager as I was for Spice World the movie. The Spice Girls pictured here on the famous Wannabee stairs where it all began, along side writer Jennifer Saunders and Producer Judy Craymer think Mamma Mia this can't be anything less than a huge hit. I hope it has the charm of Spice World and the Nostalgia of my back catalogue and memorabilia. Hint Hint for Chritmas BF if your reading.

London Shopping Trip

Today the lovely Elsey6 took me to London for a little shopping trip, I've just gotten these cue little boots from New Look and as they only have a 3" heel  thought it was the perfect day to wear them in. They were super comfy and even after 4 hours walking aroud London I only began to feel the burn on the Tube home. I'm going to have to peel these Leather trousers off myself as I can't seem to stop wearing them, but until the sun comes out I don't think They'll be going to the back of the wardrobe just yet. As always I was treated like a Princess from the bf not even having to carry my own bags what a little gem!

Typical British BBQ

Today I was invited to my first BBQ of the year, so far I'd managed to dodge the BBQ bullet not because I'm unsociable but because its too flippin cold! Living in a new area of the country it turned out to be a great way to meet some lovely new people. It was a very grown up affair, the BBQ's I'm used to normally revolve around a few burnt sausages an copious amounts of alcohol. Turning up with a bottle of wine proved to be a bit of an error it was very child orientated someone actually let me loose with there first born for half an hour. Needless to say I won't be having my own anytime soon but after a few hours of good conversation and chasing children I can honestly say I had a lovely time but definitely now looking forward to my London shopping trip to get back to normality tomorrow. Heels probably weren't the most practical choice of footwear today but I certainly won't be giving them up any time soon and wearing my new Roxy Music Tee without them I would have just looked like a teenager!

Steak Night & Fashion

Tonight saw an evening with friends with 2 meals at 2 different eatery's with a cheeky glass of Vino for good measure. I fell in love with The Manor in Alconbury the first time I went, so heading there for my Birthday meal seemed like a no brainer! Its basically one of those crazy restaurants where you cook your own food on a crazy hot plate, think Fondue for 2012 very Caveman and extremely good fun, the downside no desserts, thankfully you can always rely on Frankie and Benny's to satisfy a sweet tooth and now I'm left feeling full as a bull but happy as Larry. As the summer sun seems to be staying in hibernation I opted for slim Cargo trousers with a splash of Neon for good measure!

Wowzas!

I know this is meant to be a serious blog about what interests me in fashion but gratuitous fun never hurt anyone and if he's going to parade around in a towel it would be rude not to share it with everyone. The buffest man there ever was Mr Chris Hemsworth parading around the pool in his native Australia whilst promoting his latest film release Snow White and the Huntsman. Now if only that towel would drop...

Birthday Blues

Well this weekend I turned 29 and lets just say it made me realise I'm definitely not ready for 30, I'm just left feeling have I achieved enough? What should I have achieved by the time I'm 30? And how the hell am I going to fit it all in? I know I'm lucky that I don't quite look 30, well not in a darkened room but I just can' help feel that I'm just not ready for it. I did however receive some lovely gifts to ease the pain including these Wonder Woman inspired cuffs from Asos bought by my gorgeous friend Lauren, we have a mutual love of Wonder Woman that we discovered whilst both drooling over the Mac collection last year, when I put them on I tried my best to remain classy but in my head I was getting changed in a phone box and running round going Pow Pow! Am I still allowed to do that at 30? When do the rules change? Wish me luck!!!

Bcharmd HIM

My favourite jewellery provider Bcharmd has added a new string to their bow with the addition of a Men's collection to the site. Bcharmd HIM includes some silver wear but its the leather wrist wraps that I love, I've never been too keen on men wearing jewellery but this range is very understated and with the focus being on textures rather than bling my Arm Candy will definitely being bought one of the wraps as a little treat. And with prices averaging £15 these are just in time for the perfect Father's Day gift.

Muhammad Ali for Louis Vuitton

This morning I came across this Louis Vuitton advert and it was one of those heart melting moments. Ali is seen here not only with the iconic holdall but with his beautiful Grandson. A child so young can not fully understand the genes he has inherited but he has a pride in his eyes that comes from being a descendant of greatness. And how beautiful is the pride written all over Ali's face Athena has nothing on this ad campaign!

Yeezy on the Madness

This weekend saw the madness that was the Yeezy 2 release, for those of you not in the know the Yeezy is a co lab between Nike & Kanye West, and if you thought people (Men) went crazy for the first edition then you'll know that this was possibly the most anticipated Trainer release ever! As the better half to a trainer collector my entire weekend was based around this shoe with a round trip of over 400 miles covered I feel we may have gone too far in our quest to own them. I have to say thanks to the amazing End Clothing who provided our pairs as always excellent service from the store. And for those of you who couldn't care a less why not have a look at the outfits I sported this weekend I promise not a trainer in sight!

Date Night

Last night was date night and what else to wear on a date with my Trainer Loving Boyfriend than my new Nike Destroyer Jacket. I picked this up last week on my trip home to Newcastle from the Nike Outlet at Dalton park, at the bargin price of £15... I know I practically thought I'd be arrested at the door for robbing the place!

Bottega Veneta Resort 2013

Being from Newcastle of course I love a Tracksuit! And boy am I in love with this offering from Bottega Veneta and their Resort Collection for 2013 check out the full collection at Fashionologie. I'm sure this will fall way outside of my fashion budget but knowing the high street if Tracksuits are in they'll be doing them in abundance, step up Zara!

Jubilee Weekend

So today was day 1 of the Jubilee Weekend celebrations so I thought I'd start it off in a lady like manner with a cute little jacket, the Queen herself probably has her own little version but I'm guessing she would only allow a true Chanel in her wardrobe. As a non Royal I picked up this version in the H&M sale for the modest price of £19.99, to keep it modern I teamed it with some on trend bleached denim that thanks to a few runs I can fit in again that alone is worth raising a glass to!
