My First Givenchy Bag

I've been lusting over Givenchy for some time now and I can finally say I own a bag whoo hoo! The Antigona clutch is a favourite of mine and I can't say I'm disapointed, the leather smells divine and is smooth as silk. Now I just need to save my pennies for the Top Handle. For its first outing a chose this oversize Knit which I actually purchased last year from H&M Trend and forgot about. My necklace was a Christmas gift from my Dad from Bcharmd.

A Very Early Christmas Day

This year I get to have two Christmas days because unfortunately it is my other half's turn to spend Christmas day with his family while I drive home to Newcastle to spend it with mine. I say unfortunately, but secretly I'm pleased because it means two days of festive fun and food. And on a bigger plus it also means two days of presents. I have been lusting after the Givenchy pouches for some time now and after dropping hints like no other my lovely Boyfriend got me this gorgeous black version and I'm certainly not disappointed. He purchased it from Mytheresa.com and I have to mention their gift option is outstanding. I was about to give my Boyfriend the credit for such lovely wrapping when he admitted that the Marc Jacobs wrapping paper & heart had been sent by the company and all he had to do was not mess up the sellotape. I can't believe I didn't already own the Sex and the City box set and my favourite present has to be my 90's CD. I love to have a physical copy of things so I'm fighting the digital age till the bitter end. My drive home to Newcastle is going to be a much better one once I stick this in the old CD player. I chose a chunky knit for my outfit today and I added some Sapphire Chandelier earrings to get in the festive mood. Hope you have a lovey Christmas Msstreep x

Festive Dressing

If you read my blog "As An Adult Are Festive Knits Ever OK?" you may have been left thinking that you would never wear such a silly jumper even if it is Christmas time. So if you want to get involved with the Christmas spirit without having a Christmas Pud on your sweater, keeping to a Festive colour palette may be more for you. I wore this outfit for a couples Christmas meal and although there's not a snowflake or snowman in sight I had Festive colours in mind when I picked it out. My lipstick is from the Kate Moss for Rimmel collection and this berry colour goes perfectly with this outfit, and with the addition of my Bcharmd necklace I think there's just enough detail to keep this outfit interesting.

As An Adult Are Festive Knits Ever OK???

Santa is definitely on his way and I am very excited. Have you ever noticed that at this time of year somebody always turns up to the Christmas party wearing a themed Festive knit? I always find it odd because it's always the person most void of personality! It's like they think one item of knit wear can make up for 364 days of horrific banter. This year one of my friends suggested we go for a meal wearing said Christmas clothing crime and at first I was a Doubting Thomas. Not wanting to be the meal Grinch I thought I'd best get involved and do so with a smile on my face. After looking at a few full on themed knits, you know the ones Reindeer's, Christmas Puds and Snowmen I decided to go for the fair isle route. I found this to be the most subtle but suitably festive choice and to avoid that standing at the bar solo without looking like a 9 year old I went for tone on tone. I know, I know I'm pretty boring and not really showing good Christmas spirit but I'm a blogger with a reputation to uphold thank you very much! Merry Christmas Everyone x
