A Perfect Day For A Wedding

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending one of the most perfect weddings. The wedding itself was a small intimate affair just for family and close friends but the evening reception was perfection with the romance carried through to the evening. It was truely beautiful to hear about the day from various guests who painted a picture of perfection in my mind. The venue of the reception was honestly incredible, held and an unused Masonic Temple I felt like I had been swept up in time. And what do I say about the bride.... beauty personified there is no danger she will look back in 30 years and look at the images with aything less than a small tear in here eye. What an absolutely wonderful family I wish you both (family included) a future filled with Love, Laughs and good fortune. Thank you for letting me share this memory with you both.

Sporty Spice Day

When planning an outfit I always refer to five main looks Sport, cute, daring, fancy and every now and again I bare a little bit of flesh. If you're a Spice Girls fan you'll understand the reference. Of all the Sports Luxe outfits I own this track suit from H&M Trend is my favourite and for my trip to Harry Potter Land a winner on the comfort front. If you get the chance to go to Harry Potter Land in London do it, I was in Geek heaven and I'm now the proud owner of the Elder Wand.

Neon Alternative to the Sun

Well Winter is still with us so to bring my own sunshine I thought I'd add some neon to my wardrobe and some spots just because they're fun. I have to admit that under my shirt I am sporting some rather unglamorous thermals Shuush don't tell anyone!

Perspex Purse Delight

Charlotte Olympia has done the perspex clutch for a while now but as a fast fashion item it doesn't merit the price tag in my opinion. Lucky for me you can always count on High Street Queen Bee Zara to come up trumps and release an on trend version with a more humble price tag. I picked up this version for £20 this week I just need somewhere to wear it now. If black and white stripes isn't your thing (I'm a Geordie it's in my genes!) you may find the NEON versions more to your taste.

A Visitor From Home

There is nothing better than a visitor from home and a visit from my Dad is always the best. For a day out sight seeing wedge trainers are a great option as the 2 inch heel is barely felt. As the sun has decided he's still not ready to put his hat on a wool coat was a must. My Dad even said he liked them so either my Dad's really trendy or my wedges are horrible???

Wedge Trainers

Sports Wear is certainly having a moment with the likes of Rita Ora and Rihanna fronting the trend. I've been trying to find the perfect wedge trainer for some time now and every time I think I've found the one I'm reminded that Isabel Marant is really the only wedge trainer worth having. The price tag on the Marant wedge is quite hefty at £370 but if you have the pennies definitely worth the investment as it seems the wedge trainer isn't going anywhere soon. I've been a bit of a cheat as I found this pair which is the only true copy of the Marant for £30 I'm not normally one for fakes but these have no branding and aren't claiming to be the real deal. I wouldn't have, but the high street just haven't managed to get it right even my favourite copy cat store Zara.

Not So Typical Geordie Girl

It's not very often I get my pins out, in fact you could call it once in a blue moon but I love these leather shorts I purchased recently and as it's no longer snow weather I thought why not? I did feel quite bare with so much flesh on show so I went against my Geordie roots and shock horror put a coat on! If you've ever been to Newcastle you'll know a coat is like a swear word only spoken by 'out of towners'. The Trench is a great coat and goes well with most outfits if you don't have one it would be my biggest recommendation as a staple piece.
