This Month sees an Elle UK first, a solo male cover star and who better to pave the way than arguably the UK's hottest male of the past two decades, excuse me for gushing but boy is he handsome! If like me your a subscriber you get this exclusive cover to drool over, I see this one being a best seller for certain.

H&M for Water

Today saw the release of H&M for Water and with 25% of the sales price going to support sustainable water resourses what better excuse for a lunch time purchase?

My favourite piece from the collection is this retro style bikini Bikini £24.99

A lot of the collection has already sold out online & in stores so act fast on this range, H&M seem to be really on top of their collection ranges this year with all of the co labs having great success so far. Keep up the good work H&M and for my own personal pleasure can you please bring the full trend range to online? Thanks xxx

Bcharmd Launch

During my visit back home to Newcastle I was able to fit in a visit to the  Bcharmd summer launch, I've been a huge fan of this brand for some time now and it was a huge privilege to be asked to this event. Having began only a few years ago as a small stall at the ever popular Tynemouth Market, Bcharmd seems to have gone from strength to strength and it comes as no surprise to me. Creator Stephanie Watson never fails to impress me with her natural style and impressive eye for detail, her brand has now featured in publications such as Fabulous Magazine, Closer & ASOS as a fan from the start I find myself endlessly talking up her pieces and as word of mouth as her main Marketing tool her success surely speaks for itself. The launch itself was at Allards Lounge in Tynemouth a small but beautiful bistro bar near the coastline. As per usual the merchandising of the product was flawless and drew the crowds in like Magpies. It was certainly a glamorous evening with the ladies proving that the North East isn't all Kebabs and Knicker flashing well done ladies for bringing the Glamour and well done Bcharmd for your success so far and for the future.

It would have to be an impressive piece of jewellery to get me to jump ship and as they say "when in Rome" I couldn't resist picking up a piece for myself so I bagged this gorgeous Necklace in Gold.

Home Sweet Home

At last I've managed to get myself home to Newcastle and with a few days holiday booked in I was able to stay for a long weekend. The weather was unusually amazing with pink shoulders everywhere I turned, Newcastle girls did not let me down with more flesh on show than a Butcher's counter but I like to keep covered up in the sun and protect my English rose skin. Take a look at my weekend in outfits, pink skin may have been the trend in the North East but I kept that palette for my wardrobe only with plenty sunscreen being worn.

Not So Summer Fun

It was my first out doors event this weekend just gone and as per usual the British weather was not on my side, I've bought all these summer clothes and I'm left waiting like a kid at Christmas to be able to wear them. This really only left me with one option white jeans, white is always a colour that makes you think of summer and teamed with a fine knit I was able to keep the chilly breeze at bay whilst maintaining a summer palette. Hopefully the sun will put his hat on soon or I'm going to be one very unhappy camper!

Her Wardrobe, Her Words

'Her Wardrobe, Her Words' is a feature I've added  because I feel its important to recognise when you admire another womans style. We all look at other women with the green eyed monster sometimes and think oooh I wish I could Wear that, and rather than just be envious I thought I'd give praise not hate. My first subject is Erika, trying to describe her look has left me tongue tied as I've been unsuccessful at pigeonholin it which I guess in itself sums up her look, its unpretentious, uncontrived and generally just leaves me feeling inspired. so here goes Her Wardrobe in Her Words.

I like to collect clothes! I'd rather a really special vintage find than a designer piece every time! I don't really worry about being different or standing out, it's more to do with the history of the piece and the memory of finding it that interests me. For me style is about expressing yourself and your interests. I love everything about the 60s and 70s era and defiantly express that in what I wear. However I'm also a big fan of rock and count Axl Rose as one of my style icons! I'd hate to be pigeon holed as a certain style era because i like playing dress up too much and if I want to be twiggy one day and Axl the next then what harm!!
I've never been interested in being overly sexy and my main looks always involve high necklines! Minis, platforms, cigarette trousers, high waisted skinny trousers, Peter pan collar shirts and blouses, plimsoll's, platforms, leather and lots of fur are my wardrobe stables.

I love patterns, I always have had an eye for detailed psychedelic 60s and 70s prints. Their so cheery and bright!!

More pattern!

More print!!

My favourite piece!
A vintage Ma Cherie haute couture dress.
A find from Newcastle's Attica shop, which I couldn't afford so my boyfriend surprised me with!
I just adore its ageless glamour and intricate detailing you just wouldn't get these days!!

My collection, my pride and joy, my children!!!! How I'll ever drag this out my walk in wardrobe if there was a fire is the cause of many sleepless nights!! X

Wave hello to Inés Figaredo

This has got to be the most fun handbag I have ever seen, this unique handbag comes fresh from Inés Figaredo and his new collection available online now priced at around €2600 they're certainly not cheap but for such a rare design definitely an investment I would make given the opportunity.

Sunny Sunday Afternoon

Well the sun finally arrived this weekend and I got to take out my brand new Pashley Poppy Bike courtesy of my lovely dad. Its fair to say I won't be getting a Tour De France call up any time soon but I enjoyed the leisurely 10 miles taking in the views of my new environment of Cambridgeshire.

An Evening in Cambridge

Last night I realised that I had indeed became a grown up! I have no idea when the heck it happened but all the arrows are pointing to maturity.
I was out celebrating the birthday of my good friend Olivia, so as standard procedure we and our adoring boyfriends went to Cambridge for the evening. In the back of my mind to me that was going to mean shots, dancing and ultimately a bad head the next day. Well I couldn't have been more wrong, after a truly amazing meal and service at D'arry's there was only one empty wine glass to my name. The most daring thing we did all night was order five desserts for the four of us. And to top it all off my last minute purchase of Kate Moss for Rimmel London lipstick lasted the entire evening without budging, true staying power to survive a meal. A great night was had by all.
